Abstract:
To provide a controller of a compression ignition type engine capable of suppressing occurrence of abnormal combustion while enhancing fuel combustion performance.SOLUTION: In an engine comprising a supercharger 33 and an intercooler 35, an intake passage 30 is provided with a supercharging passage 37 in which the supercharger 33 and the intercooler 35 are arranged, and a bypass passage 36 that bypasses the supercharger 33 and the intercooler 35. In a low speed and low-load area A1, the supercharger 33 is stopped and a gas fuel ratio, which is a ratio of a total gas weight in a cylinder 2 to a fuel weight in the cylinder, is set to 24 or more so that at least part of air-fuel mixture in the cylinder burns by self-ignition. In a high-speed area B, the supercharger 33 is driven, the gas fuel ratio in the cylinder 2 is set to 20 or less, and an air-fuel ratio in the cylinder 2 is set to 14.5 or more and 15 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
