Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission which suppresses the use of a maximum gear change ratio while avoiding the lowering of starting performance as much as possible when a vehicle is in a traction state.SOLUTION: In a control device of a continuously variable transmission, a gear change map which is regulated in advance with respect to a gear change ratio from a maximum gear change ratio (LOW end) up to a minimum gear change ratio (OD end) is searched from a vehicle speed and an acceleration opening, grip forces of input/output-side elements with respect to a transmission element are calculated, and the gear change ratio is controlled. When it is determined whether or not a vehicle is in a traction state (S10, S16) and the vehicle is determined to be in the traction state, and when it is determined whether or not the vehicle speed is not lower than a prescribed vehicle speed (S18), and the vehicle speed is determined to be not lower than the prescribed vehicle speed, the control device controls the gear change ratio of a continuously variable transmission gear change ratio on the basis of a second gear change map having a corrected maximum gear change ratio which is corrected to the minimum gear change ratio side rather than the maximum gear change ratio (S22).
