Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a control device by which the lock state or the overload state of a motor for an electric car is detected exactly and which reduces the loss of a power circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A control device is provided with a synchronous motor 16, with a resolver 3 which detects the position of a rotor for the synchronous motor 16, with a power circuit 2 which electrifies the synchronous motor 16 according to the output of the resolver 3, with an accelerator-operating-amount detection means 20 which detects the accelerator operating amount of a driver and with a control circuit 17 which controls the electrifying amount of the power circuit according to the output of the accelerator-operating-amount detection means. Electrifying-amount limitation means (21, 22, 23, etc.) which limit the electrifying amount of the power circuit 2 at a time when the output value of the accelerator-operating-amount detection means is at a prescribed value or higher and when the resolver 3 detects the overload or lock state of the motor are installed.
