Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of an SCR with low resistance to high temperature.SOLUTION: A controller 5 is a device for controlling an exhaust emission control system including an exhaust passage 1 in which exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine flows and an SCR catalyst 2 provided in the exhaust passage. A controller 5 includes: a temperature determination section 120 for determining whether an upstream side temperature of the SCR catalyst 2 is a first reference temperature or higher; and an opening/closing control section 130 for performing outside air introduction control for introducing outside air taken in from an outside air introduction passage 7 connected to the exhaust passage to the exhaust passage 1 when the upstream side temperature is the first reference temperature or higher and finishing the outside air introduction control when the upstream side temperature of the SCR catalyst 2 reaches a second reference temperature lower than the first reference temperature after the outside air introduction control is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
