Abstract:
To provide a control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle that is able to improve the accuracy of vehicle-body speed estimation.SOLUTION: A control device for controlling a four-wheel drive vehicle is configured to be able to drive each of left and right front wheels and left and right rear wheels. Control means includes vehicle speed estimation means, shift position acquisition means, and positive/negative determination means. The vehicle speed estimation means estimates a vehicle-body speed, based on at least an integrated value of accelerations in a vehicle longitudinal direction of the four-wheel drive vehicle. The shift position acquisition means acquires a shift position. The positive/negative determination means determines positive/negative of an acceleration added by the vehicle speed estimation means, based on the shift position acquired by the shift position acquisition means. When the shift position acquired by the shift position acquisition means is switched to reverse a vehicle body traveling direction and, in addition, the absolute value of a converted vehicle speed calculated based on the rotational speed of each wheel becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold value, the positive/negative determination means switches between the positive and negative of the acceleration added by the vehicle speed estimation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
