Abstract:
To provide a cooling device of a power source for ship propulsion device capable of collecting environmental pollutant such as micro-plastic in water and capable of efficiently removing it with a simple configuration without sacrificing power performance.SOLUTION: A cooling device of a power source for a ship propulsion device pumps up cooling water from which foreign matters large enough to clog a cooling water path are removed, out of the water, supplies it to a cooling water path (30), and discharges it to the outside after cooling a power source (10). The cooling device installs filter devices (40, 40A, 40B) in the cooling water path to filter the foreign matters remaining in the water, and has built-in filters (45, 72) for filtration where the filter device is arranged in a main water path (P1) and built-in valve members (46, 66) that opens/closes a water path (P2). The cooling device is a cartridge type that opens the valve members and flows the cooling water via a bypass path when clogging is generated in the filters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
