To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which can enhance a freedom of engine drive at electric power generation when suppressing a rise of a battery temperature, and can improve sound vibration performance and energy efficiency.
A control device of a hybrid vehicle comprises: a system controller which performs processing indicated in a flow chart of Fig.2 as a distribution control part for controlling a distribution of electric power from a battery and engine-generated electric power being electric power generated by driving an engine, as electric power for driving a drive motor; battery temperature rise suppression control parts S7 to S10 which are included in the system controller, and suppress a rise of a battery temperature Tb by performing distribution change processing for increasing the distribution of the engine-generated electric power before the battery temperature Tb reaches a critical temperature as an upper limit temperature which is set for protecting the battery.
