Abstract:
To provide a control unit that can select appropriate diaphragm control based on a photography condition.SOLUTION: A control unit (102) has: setting means (102a) that can set a first photographing mode for performing photographing while driving light shielding means that blocks a light beam incident on imaging means and a second photographing mode for performing photographing by using an electronic shutter function; and diaphragm control means (102b) that controls diaphragm means. The diaphragm control means has a first driving mode for driving the diaphragm means to achieve a target diaphragm value through a reference diaphragm value, and a second driving mode for inhibiting the drive of the diaphragm means during exposure during which the imaging means records a still image and driving the diaphragm means to achieve the target diaphragm value not through the reference diaphragm value while the imaging means does not record the still image. When performing photographing by using the same interchangeable lens, in the first photographing mode, the control unit drives the diaphragm means in the first driving mode, and in the second photographing mode, drives the diaphragm means in the second driving mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
