Abstract:
To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine that determines the ignitability of fuel not limited to a region of a high load.
The device includes: a knocking detector 18 for detecting knocking; an ozone generator 23 for generating ozone supplied into a combustion chamber 11; and a controller 100 for controlling the internal combustion engine. The controller supplies the ozone generated by the ozone generator into the combustion chamber 11, and determines the ignitability of fuel of the internal combustion engine according to an output of knocking which are detected by the knocking detector in the combustion caused by combustion spark ignition combustion.
