The fuel supply stop control unit 1 makes a smaller one of the number of fuel supply stop cylinders at a time of the first torque down set based on the rotational speed and the number of fuel supply stop cylinders at the time of the second torque down set based on the lapsed time from the time deciding execution the number of fuel supply stop execution cylinders at the time of torque down.
