Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a reduction in light quantity of an emitted light regardless of the deterioration or fouling of an illuminating lamp to allow the long-term use, prevent the erroneous recognition of a frame IC or pellet, and reduce the recognition failure by a lack of light quantity.
CONSTITUTION: A base 2 is loaded on a stage 1, and a light of a fixed light quantity is emitted from a coaxial light lamp 5. The reerected light is detected by a CCD camera 3 to constitute a binarized image. Whether this image is recognizable or not is judged by pattern matching. When it is not recognizable, the value of the feed current is changed by an automatic light quantity setting circuit 8, and recognition and judgment are performed again. When it is not recognizable even after the procedure is repeated three times, a defective is judged to give an alarm. A CPU 9 sets the optimum light quantity data or optimum feed current value every machine kind, and also switches the lamp. Coaxial light is emitted in the emission to the base, and oblique light is used in case of a chip.
