Abstract:

To provide a control device for securing a booster vacuum capable of suitably securing the booster vacuum when catalyst warming up control is performed.

ECU 1A which is used when catalyst warming up control is performed on a vehicle provided with a brake booster 22 taking intake manifold vacuum out of an intake manifold 14, is provided with a vehicle start detection means detecting start of the vehicle and a catalyst warming up control prohibition means prohibiting catalyst warming up control. The catalyst warming up control prohibition means prohibits catalyst warming up control when the vehicle start detection means detects start of the vehicle. The vehicle start detection means detects start of the vehicle based on moving distance of the vehicle in starting to put it concretely. The vehicle start detection means prohibits catalyst warming up control when catalyst warming up control to keep intake manifold vacuum lower than a predetermined value.
