The control device for vehicle comprising an internal combustion, an automatic transmission, and the turbine with the generator is provided with a displacement increasing means for increasing displacement in the expansion process of each cylinder of the internal combustion and/or a low-speed stage shifting means for shifting a shift stage of the automatic transmission to a low-speed stage. When the generator increases the power generation amount by rotation of the turbine, the displacement is increased by the displacement increasing means and/or the shift stage is shifted to a low-speed stage by the low-speed stage shifting means.
