In the control device of the hybrid vehicle comprising the automatic transmission which operates a plurality of speed change gears by the fastening and releasing of a plurality of fastening elements, and a motor generator arranged at the input side of the automatic transmission and imparting regenerated torque, there is arranged a regeneration torque limit means which decides a limit amount of the regeneration torque of the motor generator according to a difference between a rotation number of the motor generator before a speed change and a rotation number of the motor generator being a target after the speed change when the automatic transmission is changed in speed.
