Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce variation of quantity of extrusion even if the size of a smashed article or properties of raw materials such as foam magnification are not fixed, by a method wherein the quantity of extrusion of molten resin is detected and a number of revolutions of a screw are feedback-controlled so that the quantity of extrusion is held within a fixed range.

CONSTITUTION: When either of photodetectors 35, 36 receive light from a photo source part, since it is decided that a resin flow A is on the further inside of an inside detected light path 37 and too thin, a control device 70 performs control increasing a quantity of extrusion by increasing a number of revolutions of a motor 14 of the first extruding machine 10. Then in the case where they do not receive the light, it is decided that the resin flow A exceeds a thickness to be decided by outside detected light paths 38, 38. The control device 70 effects feedback-control so that an outline of the resin flow A is held between the two detected light paths 37, 38 by reducing the number of revolutions of the motor of the first extruding machine 10.
