Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a control method of individual driving type printer to quickly enter on a plate changing operation after speed reduction stop from stationary printing operation without depending on geometrical arrangement for control method of an individual driving type printer.
SOLUTION: When stopping each printing unit by reducing a speed from a stationary printing speed, at first from start of reducing a speed to extraction of a barrel on the way to slowing down, each driving motor is controlled in synchronism so that a barrel phase relation between respective printing units is a target barrel phase relationship in the stationary printing operation. Then, after extracting the barrel, the target barrel phase relationship is changed from the first target phase relationship to a second target barrel phase relationship being a target barrel phase relationship after stopping the operation. Respective driving motors are individually controlled and stopped so that the barrel phase relationship between respective printing units becomes the second target barrel phase relationship until the operation is stopped.
