Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase generated torque of an induction motor simply and accurately by detecting displacement of a valve at the discharge port of a compressor, and raising the voltage of alternating current power supplied to the induction motor higher than that in the ordinary case in a decided section of displacement of the valve.
CONSTITUTION: A compressor element 2 is received togerher with an induction motor 3 in the same case 1, and by rotationally driving a roller 11 by means of the induction motor 3, gas or liquid is compressed. In this case, displacement of a valve 15 arranged at the discharge port 14 of the compressor element 2 is detected by a displacement detecting means 29. Synchronizing with the detected signal output at detecting maximum valve displacement by the valve displacement detecting means 29, in the section from the timing when the valve displacement becomes maximum to entering of the valve displacement into a decided range, the voltage of alternating current power supplied to the induction motor 3 is raised higher than that in the ordinary case. Hereby, the generated torque of the induction motor 3 is increased simply and accurately, according to variation of the timing requiring large driving torque.
