Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine for carrying out the gate cut operation and the compression operation or two compression operations without increasing the number of compression driving sources and without any restrictions for the operation order or operation time.
SOLUTION: In an injection molding machine provided with a mold clamping servo motor 4, a rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism for converting the rotation of the mold clamping servo motor 4 to the linear motion, a double toggle link mechanism 12 to be driven by the rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism and a movable die plate 6 driven forward and backward by the double toggle link mechanism 12, molten resin is injected and filled into molds 2 and 7 in the state that the double toggle link mechanism 12 is slightly stretched and that the mold clamping force is retained by the double toggle link mechanism 12, and during the injection and filling or after the completion of the injection or filling of the molten resin, a cross head 12d as an input end of the double toggle mechanism 12 is moved forward, and force is provided for the resin in the molds 2 and 7 by the forward moving operation of the cross head 12d.
