To provide a control method of linear polarization and an apparatus of the linear polarization which have a simple structure and manufacturing method, and reduces costs, is available even in a high frequency band (equal to or more than a millimeter wave band), and have high specific strength and broadband.
A polarization grating for controlling linear polarization is provided which is composed of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic plate and glass fiber reinforced plastic plates which are transparent in a radio-wave manner. A fiber direction of carbon fiber reinforced plastic is a single direction, the glass fiber reinforced plastic plates are laminated on both sides or one side of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic plate, and these fiber reinforced plastic plates are molded to be an integrated fiber reinforced plastic plate. An apparatus comprising the polarization grating is also provided.
