To provide a printing-job control method in a printing controller which skips an unnecessary initial processing while performing the management by a job unit and does not generate a printing injustice and printing error caused by an insufficient resource.

The printing-job control method includes the step of carrying out the printing processing of two or more printing jobs as one printing job, the step of making a printing job management table for storing each printing job information, the step of managing the printing job based on the printing job management table and the step of monitoring, and controlling the resource used at the printing processing. In a job situation management, two or more printing jobs received from a host computer are managed as two or more printing jobs. On the other hand in a job printing processing, the printing processing of them is carried out as one job, and the resource required at the printing processing is monitored and controlled. When the required resource exceeds the resource size available in the printing job under being processed, the resource which has been used for the printing job until just before is cleared and the printing processing is continued.
