To provide a suitable control method of spraying apparatuses for lowering temperature which generate mist for lowering the temperature inside a facility where solar light is made incident such as a greenhouse.
The spraying amount of mist is adjusted corresponding to not only the temperature or the temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse but also the intensity of solar light made incident inside the greenhouse. The spraying apparatuses 10 and 20 for lowering the temperature include pressurizing pumps 11 and 21 and spraying nozzles 14 and 24 for jetting pressurized water supplied from these pumps to form the mist. At least two sets of the spraying apparatuses for lowering the temperature are disposed inside the facility, the operation of the first spraying apparatus 10 for lowering the temperature is controlled on the basis of the temperature inside the facility or the temperature and the humidity inside the facility, and the operation of the second spraying apparatus 20 of the for lowering the temperature is controlled on the basis of the intensity of the solar light made incident inside the facility.
