The method of controlling an electromechanical type brake for wheel of vehicle includes: the procedure of deciding nominal position setting point (X) for a brake actuator CO from a brake set point (F) and the procedure of estimating reference current (i*) which should flow essentially to be motor of actuator from a brake set point (F) in order to apply force fairly made into the brake set point by comparing reference current (i*) with current (i) which actually flows on motor of actuator, procedure of presuming position compensation value (xcorr), and the procedure of adding position compensation value to nominal position setting point is included.
