Title:
ICE MAKING SYSTEM USING SUPERCOOLED WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009204162
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ice making system for improving SCOP (system coefficient of performance) of the ice making system by minimizing the heating for melting ice nucleus.

This ice making system includes a refrigerating machine, an ice making device, an ice-cold water circuit, a return circuit, an ice-making pump, a cooling circuit, a heat exchanger for melting ice nucleus, and an ice nucleus melting pump. A three-way ice-cold water separating device is disposed on the way of the ice-cold water circuit to make all of manufactured ice-cold water pass therethrough, and the ice-cold water separated by the three-way ice-cold water separating device is guided to the return circuit. Thus the ice nucleus included in the cold water returning to the supercooling heat exchanger is melted by the minimum heating. The three-way ice-cold water separating device is composed of a central pipe through which the ice-cold water pass, and a housing surrounding its outer periphery, a compartment is formed inside of the housing at an outer side of the central pipe, the cold water flows out to the compartment from a number of holes formed on a surface of the central pipe, and the flowing-out cold water is pumped up by the ice making pump from the compartment and transferred to the supercooling heat exchanger.
