The entrance/exit controller 10 for managing the entrance to / exit from each room is connected through a LAN 60 to a management PC 50 for setting and managing an optional message for an individual, and the message for the individual is transferred from the management PC 50, related with respective authentication data in an authentication data storage part 13 and registered in a message-for-individual storage part 16 beforehand. When an entering or exiting person enters or exits, a card owned by the entering or exiting person is read by a card reader part 11, and when the card is authenticated by referring to the authentication data in the authentication data storage part 13 in a card authentication control part 12, the message-for-individual storage part 16 is retrieved. In the case that the message for the individual related to the authenticated authentication data is registered, the message for the individual or the number of the messages is converted to voice information in a text/voice conversion part 17 and outputted from a speaker 18.
