Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformed high temperature gas control valve suited for distributing a gas flow generated in a gas generator by a solid propellant so as to substantially fixedly hold a total flow amount between a plurality of outlets connected to a rocket propulsive nozzle.
SOLUTION: A control valve, including a main unit 21 having an internal cavity partitioned by a partial spherical recessed surface 32 and a valve member 22 arranged to be pivotally moved in a total direction in the cavity inside, has an inlet 24 communicating with the cavity. The main unit has a plurality of openings extended in a radial direction communicating with the cavity, in each opening, a nozzle assembly unit 36 is mounted. The valve member has a semi-spherical head part 39 arranged in an operating shape in the inside of the main unit spherical cavity, an edge 41 of the valve member constitutes a metering edge. An operating means 45 is connected to a tip end of a lever 44, controlled pivotal movement in a total direction of the head part is performed. In this way, an area of nozzles A, C or the like in the nozzle assembly unit is variably controlled.
