Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable controller for AC electric vehicle by which accident due to erroneous interconnection between units or erroneous detection of a detector can be prevented.
CONSTITUTION: Detected values 17, 18 of AC voltage and current being input to a converter control circuit 15 are subjected to polarity comparison upon closing of a charging switch 4. If the polarities match each other, an instruction signal 29 for stopping the control operation of a PWM converter 8A is delivered to the PWM converter 8A.
