Title:
CONTROLLER FOR APPARATUS OPERATION STATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3604860
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forecast the time when the apparatus goes wrong, based on the information about the present operation state of the apparatus and the past information within the data base under the same operation conditions, by classifying the information about the operation state of an apparatus separately of each operation condition, and preserving it.
SOLUTION: An operation condition transition register 101 classifies the operation factor being computed based on each kind of input information, separately for each operation condition, and stores it. When the same operation condition appears three times within the past one week, the average of the operation factors is sent as the newest data to a change detector 102. The newest data and the past operation factor to the same operation condition registered in the data base 103 are compared with each other. If the newest data is deteriorated, the data is updated through a data base study mechanism 104, and it is registered in a data change history register 105. Moreover, the information about the deterioration is registered in an operation stage register 107. A fault forecaster 112 outputs the forecast result when it has judged that the possibility of fault occurring in future is high, based on the contents of the information about the deterioration.
