To reduce generation of sound by fixing a slit for select cable fitting which is opened by overlapping with an opening which is opened upward of a housing rise part and a select cable mounting member which is provided with a through hole in which at least a key interlock cable is inserted and passed on the lower side than the slit.

In a housing rise part 14, a U-shaped opening which is opened upward is formed. A slit 24 for select cable mounting which is opened upward by overlapping with the opening and a through hole 26 in which a square hole key interlock cable is inserted and passed on the lower side than this slit are formed. Because the housing main body part 12 of a selector housing 6 is provided with a reinforcing bead 18 and a first floor fitting part 8 adjacently to the housing rise part 14 opposite to this bead 18 and a select cable fitting member 20 is provided on the whole of the external surface of the housing rise part 14 by being fixed, rigidity of the selector housing 6 can be improved and generation of sound from the selector housing 6 can be prevented.
