Abstract:

PURPOSE:To prevent the number of terminals of a regulator from increasing by providing a regulating voltage selector for selecting the prescribed regulating voltage in response to the voltage level of a selection signal. CONSTITUTION:When a signal S2 is ''0'' level, transistors 31, 32 are nonconductive, and the voltage of a selection signal O1 becomes V1. At this time, the output of a comparator 221 is ''0'' level, and a generating voltage VB is controlled to a high regulating voltage VR. When the signal S2 becomes ''1'' level, transistors 31, 32 are connected, and the voltage of the signal O1 becomes a voltage V2 higher than the voltage V1. Since the voltage V2 is set to a value higher than the voltage Vc, the output of the comparator 221 becomes ''1'', and the generating voltage VB is controlled to a lower regulating voltage VR.
