Abstract:
PURPOSE:To optimally control the commutation margin angle by monitoring the commutation margin angle and a reverse voltage applied to a thyristor. CONSTITUTION:An integrated value of a reverse voltage applied to thyristors during the commutation margin angle period is outputted from an integrator 12, and a voltage signal having the value corresponding to the integrated value of the set applied voltage is generated. A comparator 11 outputs a set control lead angle signal with the compared result of the angle of the commutation margin angle and the reverse voltage value to a gate circuit 9. The outputs of a current calculating amplifier 8, a function generator 7 and a position detector 3 are applied to the gate circuit 9. The thyristor of a power converter 1 is selected by the output of the gate circuit 9.
