Title:
CONTROLLER FOR HYDRAULIC ROCK DRILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3488905
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately respond even when there is any change in lithology or the like during drilling operation of a hydraulic rock drill for drilling rock base.
SOLUTION: Provided are a electromagnetic proportional discharge and pressure control valve V1 supplying hydraulic pressure to an impact device of a rock drill, an electromagnetic proportional direction and discharge control valve V2 supplying oil pressure to a rotary equipment, an electromagnetic proportional direction and discharge control valve V3 supplying oil pressure to a feed equipment, and pressure oscillators S1 to S3 detecting oil pressure in impact equipment, rotary equipment and feed equipment and outputting to the controller and a program controller controlling each control valve based on electric signals from a pressure transmitter. Now, if a rotating pressure drops below a predetermined pressure during the operation of the rock drill, the impact pressure is increased and if the feed rate increases above the normal rate, then the impact pressure is lowered by the impact pressure control; if the rotating pressure rises above the normal pressure, then the feed speed is lowered by the feed pressure and speed control; and if the rotating pressure rises above the normal pressure, then the number of revolutions is increased by the revolution control.
