Abstract:
PURPOSE:To restart a normal control action even though a CPU has a runaway at a drop of the power supply voltage by resetting once the CPU when an abnormal state, i.e., the drop of the power supply voltage is recovered and this voltage exceeds a discrimination level. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 34 is working normally, a pulse WDT of a fixed cycle is delivered. If the CPU 34 has a runaway at a time point t13, the pulse WDT is not delivered and a runaway detecting circuit 37 delivers a reset signal at a time point t14. Thus the CPU 34 is reset and restarts a normal processing action at a time point t15. When the output voltage VCC of a constant voltage circuit 33 exceeds the reference voltage V1 at a time point t16 for a period between time points t13 and t14, the inhibition signal received from a comparator 35 is released.
