Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of regulating or modifying the control parameters every time when the load characteristics are varied while preventing erroneous regulation or modification of the parameters.
CONSTITUTION: The controller for controlling a power converter, e.g. an inverter, using a group of parameters in a main memory comprises an auxiliary memory 10 or 11 storing a plurality of types of parameter group corresponding to the load characteristics in respective memory banks, a switch 14 for selecting one of the plurality of memory banks, and a main memory 9 for storing the parameter group in the memory bank selected by means of the selection switch 14.
