Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively use a magnetic recording layer at the tip part of a photographic film having the magnetic recording layer by writing down the information in the magnetic recording layer at the time of winding up the film.
CONSTITUTION: At the time writing is carried out in a magnetic recording layer of a photographic film, the film in a film cartridge is wound up to the final photographed frame on a winding up reel installed outside (S12). Continuously, winding of the film on the film cartridge is started (S14) and at the same time a perforation formed in each photographed frame is detected (S16) and based on the position, the information regarding each photographed frame is written down in a prescribed region (S18). Then, when the perforation is detected (S22) after recording of the nearest frame to the tip of the film is completed (S20), the information regarding the whole body of the film is written in the magnetic recording region at the tip part of the film transported after that (S24).
