This controller, which is provided with: a traveling path information detecting device for detecting the traveling path information of a vehicle by comparing the traveling trail of the vehicle to be detected from the signals of various sensors with data stored in an information recording medium, and executing map matching for correcting the current location of the vehicle; and a behavior controller for controlling the behavior of the vehicle based on a control pattern set corresponding to the traveling path information, is also provided with: a precision detecting means (steps S11, S12 and S13) for detecting the detection precision of the traveling path information to be detected by the traveling path information detecting device by determining whether or not the correction of the current location of the vehicle based on the execution of map matching has been completed; and a control pattern changing means for changing a control pattern based on the precision of the traveling path information.
