Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit an early control to be effected with the maximum clutch engaging pressure applied at the time of starting until a clutch is conditioned to the specified half engagement by controlling a device in such a way that the maximum clutch engaging pressure is applied until the starting clutch is conditioned to the specified half engagement. CONSTITUTION:This controlling device includes a starting clutch 1, a engaging pressure control valve 3 mounted on a hydraulic pressure line 2 to the clutch 1, an acturator 4 which controls the actuation of the valve 3, and a controlling means 6 which outputs a control signal to the actuator 4 so as to increase the clutch engaging pressure gradually when a signal for starting is inputted from an input sensor 5. The input sensor 5 includes a clutch engaging condition sensor 501 which detects the engaging condition of the starting clutch 1 actuated by a starting operation. This configuration permits the maximum clutch pressure to be controlled by the controlling means 6 so as to be applied until the starting clutch 1 is conditioned to the specified half engagement.
