PURPOSE: To process all documents in stored logical sequence by one command by changing a first sequencing standard in a folder document into a second sequencing standard related to the folder document.

CONSTITUTION: An end user interacts with interaction management application 14, and the interaction management application 14 provides data and a screen required for generating a folder. In response to input from the interaction management application 14, a document application program 16 generates a request in the form of a file, and a library server 18 files the folder in a server library 12 as the end user designates. Thus, a data object related to the folder document is established while reflecting the sequencing standard and the sequence of the document filed in the folder, and the designated document is filed in the folder provided with the logical sequence related to the sequence in which the document is stored.
