Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate a fault of power short in the braking force and increase a safety of the device, by increasing a spring load of the fluid pressure follow-up valve in fluid pressure circuits at the dominant pressure side with the movement of fluid pressure response means when a damage is caused in one system of the fluid pressure circuits. CONSTITUTION:In housings 2, 2' are arranged P valve pistons 7, 7' so as to be actuated in a face-to-face motion. Valves 7a, 7a' are constructed in each of the pistons and cooperatively actuated with valve seats 8, 8'. While to the other end of each piston are slidably engaged stepped sleeves 9, 9' to the end face of which retainers 10, 10' are arranged. Between these of the retainers, a compression spring 11 is interposed to urge positions of the valves 7a, 7a' toward the direction of opening. Now assuming an occurrence of abnormality in one of the systems, for instance, if the master cylinder pressure is not applied to a port 3, the stepped sleeve 9 is moved rightward by the master cylinder pressure acted to a port 3' to compress the coil spring 11, increase its spring tension finally magnify the brake power.
