Abstract:
A garment hanger comprises a hook 102 a support block 101 and a pair of arms 105, 109 each having a first end pivotally connected to the support block. The arms each have a second end pivotally connected to a collar-like pull ring 113. In use the pull ring moves towards and away from the support block at the urging of a rotating threaded rod 111 passing there through so as to extend and retract the arms of the garment hanger. The threaded rod is turned by a micro motor 118 (not shown) in a handle 114 disposed at an ends of the threaded rod remote from the hook.
