Title:
ANALOG/DIGITAL CONVERSION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3046005
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital (A/D) conversion circuit, capable of stabilizing operation, while reducing total power consumption by minimizing the power consumption in analog regions.
SOLUTION: After the output signal of a first sample/hold (S/H) amplifier 201 for receiving an analog input signal (Vi) has been selected, a switch 202 performs switching so as to select a feedback signal (Vf), the inputted analog signal is converted into a digital signal by a subordinate A/D converter 206, that output signal is converted to an analog signal by a subordinate D/A converter 207, the difference of analog signals before and after switching due to the switch 202 is calculated by a subtracted 203 and amplified by a residual voltage amplifier 204. Thereafter, this is fed back via a second S/H amplifier 205 to the switch 202, the bits of an output signal from the subordinate A/D converter 206 is superimposed one by one, and the digital signal of N bits is made to be outputted from a digital correction part 208 in this circuit configuration.
