PURPOSE: To control a transmitting state of light, to simplify structure, and to raise a dynamic reliability by providing a magnetic path member having a gap on the way, and a magnetic flux generating means for forming a loop-shaped magnetic flux on this magnetic path member.
CONSTITUTION: A disk body 2 is formed by a magnetic material of iron, etc. so that it becomes a magnetic path when a magnetic flux is generated. In the inside of the disk body 2, a through-hole 2b is formed in its shaft part, together with the inside of a projecting part 2a. In the circumference of the projecting parts 2a, 2a, a space S1 is formed, and in its inside, a magnetic fluid 6 of a suitable quantity is enclosed. Accordingly, when an electric conduction is started to a coil 7, a magnetic field is generated, and this magnetic field is generated concentrically as a magnetic flux in the inside of the projecting parts 2a, 2a being a magnetic path. In this way, a transmitting state of light can be controlled, a structure is simplified, and a dynamic reliability can be raised.
