To provide a conveying device not requiring a workpiece rotating means in addition to a conveying drive means while allowing the rotation of workpieces under conveyance.

The conveying device comprises a driving pulley 32 of a rotating drive means 31; a driven pulley 35; an endless driving force transmission means 41; a carrier pulley 6 wound with an intermediate part of the endless driving force transmission means 41 and reciprocated between the driving pulley 32 and the driven pulley 35 by driving the rotating drive means 31; a rotating shaft 63 fixed to the center of the carrier pulley 6, having a workpiece support member 7 fixed to the lower end to support the workpiece W, and long in a vertical direction; and regulation release means for releasing regulating means 4b, 4c, 71, 72 for regulating the rotation of the carrier pulley 6 and releasing the rotation regulation of the carrier pulley 6 by the regulating means 4b, 4c, 71, 72 when the carrier pulley 6 is reciprocated between the driving pulley 32 and the driven pulley 35.
