To provide an in-car illumination control device minimizing the degradation of illuminance in a car so as not to trouble users even if burning-out of an electric bulb occurs in illumination in the car, and preventing frequent notification to a building manager or a maintenance company from the users.
The in-car illumination control device for an elevator wherein a plurality of sets of illuminating lamps 2a, 2b comprising light control means 3a, 3b capable of regulating luminosity are installed in the car 1, comprises a means 7 for detecting abnormality of the illuminating lamps, and a control means for making other normal illuminating lamps brighter than usual by the light control means when detecting the abnormality of the illuminating lamps.
