To provide a conveying device which is free from any secular degradation of power transmission efficiency, structurally safe, and capable of mostly saving working labor of maintenance.
A conveying device 1 loads an object to be conveyed on a conveying roller 15 provided on the inner side of a side frame 11, and conveys it, and includes a roller built-in roller 6 as a drive source, two systems of reciprocal straight motion members 12, 13, and a rotation regulating member 16b. The two systems of reciprocal straight motion members 12, 13 are connected to the roller built-in roller 6 to convert rotational motion into straight motion. The conveying roller 15 is connected to the reciprocal straight motion members 12, 13, and executes reciprocal straight motion following the motion members 12, 13. At the same time, the rotation regulating member 16b rolls on a part of the side frame 11 to regulate the rotational direction of the conveying roller 15. The object to be conveyed is conveyed by the actions of the straight motion and the rotational motion of the conveying roller 15.
