Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cooling apparatus for a distribution board which can expect effective cooling and moreover can improve reliability in operation.
CONSTITUTION: An inverter apparatus 7 is arranged within a wind tunnel 5. A transistor 7A is attached to a cooling fin 7B of the inverter apparatus 7. Temperature relays 8, 9 are also attached to the cooling fin 7B. A blast fan 6 is provided at the inlet side of the wind tunnel 5, while a suction fan 10 is provided at the outlet side and operations thereof are switched by a temperature relay 9. A branch is provided at the exhaust exit, the suction fan 10 is provided to the exhaust path and a movable plate 11 for exhaustion which closes during operation of the suction fan 10 is also provided in the other exhaust path connected in direct to the outside of the power distribution board. An aperture is provided to the wall surface near the exhaust port of the blast fan 6 of the wind tunnel 5 and it is also provided with movable plate for exhaustion which opens during operation of the fan 10. Thereby, loss in the conduit becomes equal in any cooling fan to maintain the predetermined cooling capability.
