To provide a system for efficiently correcting and cooling a synthetic resin molded article even if a straightening and cooling time is required long as compared with the molding time in a molding machine.

In the cooling apparatus for the synthetic resin molded article 1 constituted so that the synthetic resin molded article 1 is molded by the molding machine and subsequently taken out of the molding machine to be cooled while straightened using a correcting and cooling fixture 5, the cooling apparatus has a feed device 7 on which a plurality of the straightening and cooling fixtures 5 can be mounted and the feed device 7 is equipped with a feed bar 17 for moving the straightening and cooling fixtures 5 to the next position on the feed device 7 and a positioning bar 18 for positioning the straightening and cooling fixtures 5 at respective positions on the feed device 7. During the movement of the straightening and cooling fixtures 5 on the feed device 7, the synthetic resin molded article 1 in the straightening and cooling fixtures 5 is straightening and cooled.
