Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable cooling control device that enables high followability of an actual water temperature to a target water temperature and that can easily perform cooling control for making the actual water temperature correspond to the target water temperature by operating an electric cooling device.SOLUTION: In a cooling control device, a target water temperature is set based on an engine operating state (S400), and a target heat radiation efficiency is set by performing F/B control on the basis of a deviation between the target water temperature and an actual water temperature and F/F control based on engine heat quantity (S402). In the cooling control device, a fan operating rate of a radiator fan is acquired from the target heat radiation efficiency and a heat radiation model (S404), and a cooling water flow rate that indicates a product of a pump operating rate and a thermostat valve opening rate is acquired from the heat radiation model on the basis of the target heat radiation efficiency and the fan operating rate (S406). In the cooling control, the water pump operating rate and the thermostat valve opening rate are set from the cooling water flow rate on the basis of an adaptation map in accordance with engine speed and a water temperature (S408).
