The cooling device 8 for sintered ore 6 is provided with a sintered ore cooling process having an exhaust heat recovery zone 1, a pressure adjusting zone 2 positioned adjacently in a downstream side of the exhaust heat recovery zone 1, and a cooling zone 7 positioned adjacently in a downstream side of the pressure adjusting zone 2. A push-in blower 3 and a suction blower 4 are provided as pressure adjusting devices for adjusting a pressure of the pressure adjusting zone 2 to a pressure of the exhaust heat recovery zone 1 or more.
