To provide a cooling device for directly cooling a table of a sewing machine.

The cooling device comprises the table (5) for supporting clothes to be sewn, a lower shaft (6) arranged under the table, a fan (9) attached to the lower shaft (6) for radially discharging air following the rotation thereof, a fan cover (10) for guiding the air discharged by the fan to the bottom surface of the table, and ventilation grooves (5a) provided on the bottom surface of the table lengthwise and breadthwise for allowing the air flow from the outlet of the fan cover to spread over the table.
