Abstract:
To provide a cooling device capable of preventing deterioration of cooling performance due to defrosting failure even when the cooling device is for a chilling refrigerator using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant or when a refrigerator cooling load is rapidly increased.SOLUTION: A cooling device of the present invention includes an expansion valve 34 provided between a pump 40 and an inlet 16 of a refrigerant coil 10, a solenoid valve 30 provided between an outlet 14 of the refrigerant coil 10 and a receiver 36, and a control device 24. During defrosting operation, the control device 24 closes both of the expansion valve 34 and the solenoid valve 30, and thereby, a refrigerant in the refrigerant coil 10 is confined in the refrigerant coil 10, and temperature and pressure are raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
